Happy Valentine's Day!

With Valentine's Day here once more, I thought that it would be a good idea to post some scripture to remind us of love and obedience.

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it."

Eph. 5:25

"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord:

Eph. 5:22

"So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He than loveth his wife loveth himself."

Eph. 5:28

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the day of her life."

Prov. 31:10-12

"Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His love endures forever."

Psalms 136:2-3

Pederson Family

By now I am sure that everyone has heard about the tradedy that has struck the Pederson Family. Here is the lastest update.

Carrie (wife and mother of 2) will be buried in Colorado Springs. She was an Air Force Academy graduate and wished to be burried there. Her infant son, Lucas, will be buried with her. No date has been set.

There will be a memorial service here at the base, but no date or time has been set yet.

Ashley, Jim and Carrie's daughter had a great night. She is talking and off the sedation. Hopefully she will be released from the hospital soon.

For those wishing to help:
To make donations to help offset the cost of travel, hotel, food, and rental cars for Carrie's family, donations can be made at First Arkansas Bank and Trust under the name "Pederson Support Fund"
Checks can also be sent to:
Pederson Support Fund
c/0 MSgt. Michael Lindstrom

Please make checks out to "Pederson Support Fund"

For those wishing to make meals. The POC is Jessie Eller. You can e-mail her at pollypocket8282@yahoo.com or call her at 501-941-1840. She is making a meal schedule for the next few months.

Merry Christmas!

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
ISAIAH 9:6

Merry Christmas!

It the 21st of December which means only four more days until Christmas! Let's remember that Christmas can't be found under the tree, or in a store. It's not wrapped or bagged. You'll never find it online. Christmas is found in a manger. Praise God that He loves us so much that He sent His son to us.

So, please, take the time to reflect this Christmas day. Remember the real reason for celebration.

Merry Christmas to everyone!! And God Bless!!!
