Pederson Family

By now I am sure that everyone has heard about the tradedy that has struck the Pederson Family. Here is the lastest update.

Carrie (wife and mother of 2) will be buried in Colorado Springs. She was an Air Force Academy graduate and wished to be burried there. Her infant son, Lucas, will be buried with her. No date has been set.

There will be a memorial service here at the base, but no date or time has been set yet.

Ashley, Jim and Carrie's daughter had a great night. She is talking and off the sedation. Hopefully she will be released from the hospital soon.

For those wishing to help:
To make donations to help offset the cost of travel, hotel, food, and rental cars for Carrie's family, donations can be made at First Arkansas Bank and Trust under the name "Pederson Support Fund"
Checks can also be sent to:
Pederson Support Fund
c/0 MSgt. Michael Lindstrom

Please make checks out to "Pederson Support Fund"

For those wishing to make meals. The POC is Jessie Eller. You can e-mail her at pollypocket8282@yahoo.com or call her at 501-941-1840. She is making a meal schedule for the next few months.

For any other questions, the POCs are Jill and Brad Hoagland with the 463 OSS. Their number is 819 0837 or you can e-mail at jbhoag5@comcast.net.

Merry Christmas!

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Merry Christmas!

It the 21st of December which means only four more days until Christmas! Let's remember that Christmas can't be found under the tree, or in a store. It's not wrapped or bagged. You'll never find it online. Christmas is found in a manger. Praise God that He loves us so much that He sent His son to us.

So, please, take the time to reflect this Christmas day. Remember the real reason for celebration.

Merry Christmas to everyone!! And God Bless!!!

Thank You Jesus

Heavenly Father,

I just want to thank you for Your guiding hand. You kept April safe during a horrific car accident that had the ability to take her life. I know that you have an awesome purpose for her life. I want to thank you that she realizes that, too. Lord, we know that Your hand is in every aspect of our lives and for that we thank You.

Amen

Hear our Prayers

Most Heavenly Father:

Please hear our prayer and send your comforting arms to the army family that has been stuck down with tragedy. The father has been severly wounded in combat, You have called the three children Home, and the mother is left asking why. Please be with her in her time of need. Please be with the father as he needs you, too. Please comfort them in their anger and grief and guide them to the other side so that they can find joy in their lives again. Remind them that if they are true believers they will be with the children again soon. If they are not believers help them come to know You. We ask this in Your name.

Amen
