Yee-Haw!

Get ready for a rootin', tootin' good time, y'all! Feb. 16 is the annual Valentine's dinner at the chapel. This year we're gonna have us a good ole fashioned hoe-down!

This is the PWOC's turn to play host to this annual event. Please remind all your friends to buy tickets. Encourage your single friends to come, too. This isn't just an even for couples. Also, please let people know that child care is being provided.

Feb. 16
6:30-8:30
Chapel Annex

Put on your best cowboy duds and we'll see ya there!

Pederson Family

By now I am sure that everyone has heard about the tradedy that has struck the Pederson Family. Here is the lastest update.

Carrie (wife and mother of 2) will be buried in Colorado Springs. She was an Air Force Academy graduate and wished to be burried there. Her infant son, Lucas, will be buried with her. No date has been set.

There will be a memorial service here at the base, but no date or time has been set yet.

Ashley, Jim and Carrie's daughter had a great night. She is talking and off the sedation. Hopefully she will be released from the hospital soon.

For those wishing to help:
To make donations to help offset the cost of travel, hotel, food, and rental cars for Carrie's family, donations can be made at First Arkansas Bank and Trust under the name "Pederson Support Fund"
Checks can also be sent to:
Pederson Support Fund
c/0 MSgt. Michael Lindstrom
463rd Operations Support Squadron

Please make checks out to "Pederson Support Fund"

For those wishing to make meals. The POC is Jessie Eller. You can e-mail her at pollypocket8282@yahoo.com or call her at 501-941-1840. She is making a meal schedule for the next few months.

For any other questions, the POCs are Jill and Brad Hoagland with the 463 OSS. Their number is 819 0837 or you can e-mail at jbhoag5@comcast.net.

Please keep this family in your prayers.
